Teacher holds a position of respect in this part of the world. It is a belief of the people that knowledge cannot be bought .It is imparted. In Nepal the schools have a good demand for English teachers. The Teaching English program is challenging and rewarding. Normally in Nepal, a class hosts 25-50 students with ages between 6-14 years. As English became a second language in Nepal and the country wants her young generation to stand out in international competition, effort in teaching English has great value in Nepal. Besides teaching simple English, teachers are involved in organizing games, sanitation, health education and other help that the school might request. Thus corporate trainers who teach business English are highly paid professionals and TEFL training is the only qualification required for the job.

The BPO industry of today needs fluent English speakers, who also speak in accents. English teachers with a native accent, are sought after to help train these callers in a neutral accent or native English accent. Skills and techniques taught on the TEFL/ TESOL course helps these teachers to help train the BPO staff acquire the right accent and speaking skills needed for their industry. Even these trainers are well paid for the job.
